Miracles

“Are there miracles?” says a boy to his father.
“The world works with rules, so why would God bother?”
“But what of the sky, or the birds that we see? The fact they can fly looks miraculous to me.”
“Well boy, don’t be fooled, that’s simply good science.”
“But then how do they know before they just try it?!”
“That’s good son, I’m stumped, I assume they just know, or maybe because their parents teach them so.”
“But what of their parents, who taught them too? And grandparents way back, who really knew?”

“Well child, you’re right, I’ve got nothing to say. Except maybe God does work in miraculous ways.”
